I was alerted to this video recently featuring David Griffin, Director of Photography at National Geographic magazine, talking about some of the magazine's most iconic and powerful images.
I think it's fair to say that the images of the shark caught in a fishing net and the elephant killed for it's ivory were far more powerful than words could have been.
The story at the end about the seal is just amazing!

Truly Amazing Kodak Advert - "Keep Me, Protect Me, Share Me"
I came across this advert on You Tube and thought it was amazing, certainly the best advert I have ever seen.
It's over six minutes long but well worth watching all the way through.
It's very inspiring and certainly makes me proud to be a photographer. I hope you like it too.
